In episode 25 of Clinical Updates, Barbara Skodje-Mack, EdD, LMFT, discusses Clara’s House, a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) that provides intensive, collaborative, therapeutic services to help stabilize and improve emotional well-being of youth, ages 3-18 years old. Clara’s House provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management, as well as psychotherapy and group services to develop key strategies such as emotion regulation, distress tolerance, coping skills, and relationship skills.
Providing emotion regulation skills for caregivers to help their child could be an early intervention during this critical developmental period.
