Deb Fearing, LPN, Pre-visit planning
I think my journey to working in healthcare started when my parents gave me my name. In the Bible, Deborah was a nurse. So I think it was my purpose – to help people who were suffering. To give a touch or a smile to help people who are going through a tough situation. And to be able to start my career in my hometown, and to love on people in my community, makes me feel really blessed. I’ve been here for more than 40 years and looking back, the time has gone so fast. I can still remember that first interview in 1978!
Today I’m an LPN pre-visit planner, so I work with our quality and health maintenance team to prepare charts for our providers leading up to patient visits. It might be a clinic visit, video appointment or phone visit, and my job is to make sure our providers have everything they need to give the best care possible and help our friends and neighbors and community be healthier. What I enjoy most is my coworkers and knowing the people we care for. We have a great team here – from our patient assistants, to front line staff, interpreters and everyone. Our crew has a great work ethic and we always pull together to make sure the work gets done.
Deb is great role model, she has taught me so much over the years.

If I had to describe Deb in one word, it would be “diligent”. I often come to the clinic at odd hours and it is not unusual to see her working at her desk earlier than anyone and later than anyone. If Deb is given a task, one can always be confident it will be done thoroughly and well. KUDOS to Deb.
Deb is a rock star!!! Dependable and willing to do the extra things to make the patient experience better. Good to see you getting recognized for what you do day in and day out….keep up the great work.
