Clinical Documentation CME

A suite of comprehensive education sessions has been created to support all new Clinical Partners on cumbersome background issues as they begin their practice. What You Need To Know

The aim of these sessions is to make the job easier by supporting a provider with what they need to know about documenting, billing, medical necessity, and EMR habits that align with smart practices. Though our attention belongs to clinical care, what we document about that care ends up having tremendously broad impact. Most providers receive little or no education on these topics in training. Even providers long in practice have questions and opportunities for improvement. These sessions will tell you what you need to know so you can get your attention back to clinical care, with more tools available to get the work done efficiently and correctly.

All Clinical Partners Are Welcome

Any provider is welcome to learn. Additionally, the Medical Staff office has partnered with individual sections and clinics to help new providers find their way to this training in such a manner as their schedule is blocked. This supportive education is structured to be part of their first year, to invest time in training before production pressure begins and to engender good habits from the beginning. Of the six sessions, different combinations of topics will be applicable to different practice models.
