E&M CME: Update for Ambulatory Providers
Evaluation and Management Documentation Education for Ambulatory Clinical Partners
Primary care providers, are you looking for a review of the 2021 E&M rules? Do you need assistance with medical decision making and E&M code selection? This session will focus on consult rules and consult standardized notes for Ambulatory physicians and APPs.
Objectives
Identical content will be offered at each session. Clinical Partners need only attend one. At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
- Understand the 2021 Evaluation and Management (E&M) regulatory changes.
- Locate and understand calculators within Epic to support E&M code selection.
- Understand rationale and how to use features of the new standard note templates.
- Identify resources if help is needed with new Epic functionality.
