Workshop
Tuesday, October 22nd — 7:00-8:00AM on ZOOM
Monday, October 28th — 12:00-1:00PM on ZOOM
Join us for an engaging and interactive workshop designed specifically for preceptors involved in the assessment and evaluation of medical students. This session, led by the University of Minnesota’s Assessment and Coaching team, will focus on the essential components of effective student assessment.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll gain valuable insights into the rationale and methodology behind medical student assessment, including clinical skills evaluation and the concept of Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs). We will also discuss how to provide high-quality, actionable feedback that fosters student learning and development. Additionally, you’ll learn about resources available through the Assessment and Coaching Expert Program to support both learners and faculty.
This is not just a lecture; we encourage your participation and questions to enhance the learning experience. Whether you’re a seasoned preceptor or new to the role, this workshop will equip you with practical tools to enhance your assessment practices.
