We want you to stay.
We are a work family, and this is one of those times when we need to lean into our own family of physicians and caregivers for their knowledge. Sign up for a 30-minute, private conversation with a CentraCare or Carris Health clinician. Ask your questions about the COVID-19 virus or vaccine. Express your concerns. Even though it can be hard on a daily basis to know who to trust or what to trust, these caregivers have taken an oath to have your best interest in mind.
How it works:
Look through the physicians and caregivers below. Click on their photo to learn more about their medical practice and background. Then make an appointment for your private conversation using the SignUpGenius app. After you sign up for a session time, you’ll receive a Webex invitation for your meeting.
Guide Rails
We really want to listen to your concerns, and we want to help. To do so, we need to follow a few guide rails:
- These clinicians are volunteers. They want to listen. They have Covid infection and vaccine information to share, but they don’t set policy and they don’t have answers to human resource or specific operational questions. We will need to direct you elsewhere for those answers.
- These clinicians can offer general information related to COVID-19 and the vaccines, but these are not official medical visits and you may need additional guidance from your primary care provider or specialist. We will answer the questions that we can and tell you if someone else will need to answer the others.
- Please be kind. We know you will, but we also know that this is an emotional time for all. These clinicians have volunteered to help.
- Remember that these are private sessions between you and these clinical volunteers. Please make your connection when you can be alone, in a quiet place. What you ask or say is private and we expect the same privilege in return. While you are welcome to take notes, or even schedule an additional appointment if you need more time, recording a session without the permission of both parties participating is not allowed and given our intent to protect the privacy of all, recording permission is not granted.
A Little Grace
Please note that these clinicians have made the commitment to be there for you and are prioritizing these appointments so they can be available and on time. Please grant us grace for last minute clinical emergencies. If for whatever reason, you are unable to make contact with your clinician at the scheduled time, please email Mollyanne.gardner@carrishealth.com.
We really hope this helps. We want everyone to have the accurate and evidence-based, scientific information you need to be comfortable and confident with the Covid vaccines. As always, thank you for all you are doing during this trying time. We WILL get through it together.
This is a wonderful idea for those seeking more information and an educated ear to listen to their questions. Thank you ALL for volunteering yourselves for this important discussion!
