Take a Minute to Breathe

Featuring the Photography and Concept of Jeffrey Wallager ©2021

A picture is worth a thousand words, and it can also spark a thousand emotions. Spending a few minutes with our senses can change our mood, mindset and raise our spirit. That’s precisely why Jeff Wallager, Chaplain Supervisor, created this series of mindfulness exercises that tap into our human senses.

Wallager, who is also a remarkable photographer, was inspired to create these exercises after photographing several stunning nature images. He found the imagery brought him peace and he wanted to share it with others.

This collection of 10, two-minute mindfulness exercises is Wallager’s work. They use the acronym “SENSE” to help you sit with the image, experience it, name any feelings, stretch your imagination and engage with your surroundings. Give it a try by clicking on the videos below and be sure to thank Jeff for sharing his talents!

They say horses are very empathic. I sensed the horses were being present to me. I felt calmed! Thanks Jeff, well done!

This is exactly what the whole world needs, time to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness around us, time to reflect.

    Thank you for sharing.
