Objectives

In this seventh session, Dr. Minces will discuss the Role of Mitochondria in Diabetic Kidney Disease with Dr. Viral Vakil. At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. Know when to refer to Nephrology
  2. Understand the pathophysiology of diabetic kidney disease
  3. Understand the 2022 KDIGO guidelines on diabetic kidney disease
