Objectives

Dr. Minces will discuss the topic of Obesity Medicine with Zayda Ewing, PA-C, and Shawn Day, DO. At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. Expand knowledge of obesity epidemiology.  
  2. Understand classes and stages of obesity. 
  3. Grasp neuroendocrine disease process of obesity.   
  4. Have awareness of treatment options such as bariatric surgery and anti-obesity medications. 

Note: Identical content is offered at each session under the topic specific sessions; providers need only attend one.
