Donna Harris, APRN, CNP, BC-ADM will discuss the topic of Diabetes Management during the February Science of Practicing Medicine CME. At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
Identify agents for type 2 diabetes management based on comorbidities of CAD/ASCVD, heart failure, and chronic kidney disease versus glucose lowering and weight loss.
Identify complication secondary to diabetes and prevention, delay and treatment.
Identify different continuous glucose monitor devices currently available.
