Objectives

 At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to: 

  1. Recognize certain risk factors and patterns seen in hereditary cancer syndromes. 
  2. Have increased awareness on how identifying a hereditary cancer syndrome for an individual (and their family) can help ensure appropriate screening and surveillance. 
  3. Identify patients that would benefit from genetic counseling and feel more confident in the referral process.
