CME: COVID-19 Vent Management

Dr. Jacob Lyons provided a ventilator management CME educational session designed to be a refresher for providers in a regional setting who may be managing more complex patients during the pandemic.  The live presentation was recorded and is available to providers who were not able to attend the live session.  Please follow the steps below to access the recording and claim CME credit.  

Objectives

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
• Choose an initial ventilator mode, tidal volume, PEE, PiO2, and respiratory rate
• Interpret display values and make corresponding adjustments
• Recognize common problems in the early phase of mechanical ventilation
