In this fourth session, Dr. Minces will discuss the Delirium in Adult and Pediatric Populations with with Dr. Claire Drom, Dr. Michael Carpenter, and Clinical Nurse Specialist Evalyn Michira . At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
Identify the signs and symptoms of delirium and psychopharmacologic and non-psychopharmacologic treatment in children and adolescents.
Identify standard psychopharmacologic and non-psychopharmacologic management practices in cases of adult delirium.
Describe HELP (Hospital Elder Life Program) components including the program roles and requirements.
