Objectives

Dr. Minces will discuss the topic of Concussions with George Morris, MD. At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  1.  Identify concussion and initial concussion management. 
  2. Promote active vs passive recovery. 
  3. Recognize the difference in management of acute concussion and persisting symptoms after concussion. 
  4. Understand the role of rehabilitation in treatment of concussion. 

Note: Identical content is offered at each session under the topic specific sessions; providers need only attend one.
