It’s the little things

Staying involved in my family

Thomas Miller, RN

The big thing for me is trying to be productive on my days off. I try not to just lay around, as easy as that is sometimes, and just try to stay active in the best way that I can. It doesn’t always happen how I envision it, but I’m always working on it and trying to stay involved in my family too.

For me, it’s the little things. Like my grandpa is 87 years old and still plays golf. He’s really active and pretty dang healthy. When I’m with him, I tend to not care about my golf game so much and we just try to keep it pretty light and enjoy each other’s company. I try to go out with him as often as I can because you never know when the last time that’s gonna take place.

Thomas is an amazing nurse and person! I am proud to work alongside him and to be related to him (as my cousin)! CentraCare is lucky to have him!

Maybe partial to this young man ( my nephew) but he is making a difference.
While taking care of himself staying active he also always makes time for his 87 year old grandfather ( My dad). This kindness certainly benefits all and keeps dad going too.
